I'm after a second pair of binoculars but can't afford too much at the moment.(dreaded job cuts) I'm fed up of running out to get them out of my car and when I'm out, realising I don't have them in the car as there in the house..!!!! Doh

I've got rspb 8x42 so would like something a bit more powerful/sharp as now I'm past 40 my eyesight is failing badly.

Just missed out on a pair on here sadly but hey that's life.

Any tips advise much appreciate re shops selling second hand etc not that knowledgeable on spec just from reading so excuse my ignorance..
