RE: Walk around Carrington

Be aware of the recently painted double yellow lines for 20 yards or so before the barrier. I have never been stopped ever anywhere near the Utd. Training ground but the concrete road is getting busier and busier so turn off west after you've checked the Chaffinch and tit flocks in the Silver Birches

It's fine to walk down past the united training ground Robin. The guys on security may quiz you at the entrance to the ground but just let them know you a birder, not paparazzi, and they ought to let you by. It is a right of way.
Cheers.
Henry.

Hi,

I'm looking at doing a walk around Carrington as I work close by but I'm stumped where to start. I can see from the guides to park down Isherwood Rd (the far end I presume) and I want to to a circular, coming back on the path that runs alongside the Shell Pond, can I begin my walk by carrying on down Isherwood Rd? Because from what I can see the Man Utd training ground barrier is in the way!

Thanks for any guidance!

Robin
