There was an offer on for 18 months with the bird atlas thrown in when published. Dont know if that is still on, or how much it was , but I signed up.

Not quite a year, the membership lasts from now until the end of June 2013 - but its still a fabulous idea.

To gain new members the BTO are having a recruiting drive offering just £1 for an annual membership. Seems pretty low to me!
