RE: Help with Pigeon Required

Hi Charles

im not sure what the offical thing to do is but i can give some advice on feeding till you get some better advice, as ive noticed over the years pigeons dont really like bread, the best and easy to buy food they seem to like is small suet pellets, 0ne pound from home bargains for 500gms is best price ive found, a great food full of fat and energy which if the bird is not well will be very helpfull i would think, also mealworms too though pellets seem to be best, best Den

While working in the Aircraft Hangar today,a very young Pigeon came ambling up to me,as though it was requesting help.
It was very tame,I put it in a box and gave it a Drink with the help of a sychring and some bread, but it only ate 2 small pieces.
It has on one leg a very small bead bracelet, not a ring,Any ideas,
I released it a couple of times and it flew a good couple of hundred yards before crash landing.
Ive put it back in the box and had to leave it in work untill 06.00 tomorrow morning.
If its still alive then can anyone give me any ideas as too what to do.
That bracelet is playing on my mind,is it someones pet.
HELP
