common toad chew res, Green Tiger Beetle on the Tops, Green Hairstreak & Orange Tip butterfly, cuckoo flower, cats ear, white dead nettle on the road up top Chew Res and Wild Strawberry on the Tops among a lot of other stuff

Very close views of a stoat ,bounding through the snow ,around the toilet block at Binn Green.
Also several lines of deer tracks , ( Roe Deer??).

Definately Clouded Border.

Checking up on a couple of other things, confirmed

Slender Thistle
Eye-bright

From yesterday's walk up to Chew Reservoir and back

Rabbit
Grey Squirrel

Speckled Wood 1
Meadow Brown 4+
Small Heath lots
Large Skipper several
Small Tortoiseshell 2
Large White 3+

Clouded Border Moth ( I think, ground colour seemed a little cream compared to the guide)
Pyralid and other grass-loving micros lots

Common Hawker 2

White-tailed Bumblebee
Red-tailed Bumblebee

Birch Polypore

Among the commoner flowers there were single clumps or specimens of the following

Water Forget-me-not
Goldenrod
Common Spotted Orchid -several single specimens along the side of the road in the upper part of Chew Valley
Orange Hawkbit
White Deadnettle
Heath Bedstraw
Heath Speedwell
Prickly Sow-Thistle

also quite a lot of Tormentil even in the higher parts of the valley
