The warm March weather has no doubt accounted for some earlier breeding.
Blackbirds are also feeding young near Sharston Industrial Estate I noticed the other day.

Received an email a couple of weeks ago about a brood of Song Thrush, but it was down south. Excellent record though.

I have a Pair of Blackbirds M & F collecting Beakfuls of Grubs,Worms,Bread etc
and flying off fully laden.
This only means they have chicks to feed.
1st week in April,Must be a record.
