Got to take it between now and March 31. I think we will have to arrange with the guide when he's free - as I think it's just the guide and the two of us.

We were thinking of as near to the end of March as possible - maybe a chance of Goshawk then.

ah the purple sandpiper congratulations both of you , i always intend to enter these comps but then dont bother , think i'll take give it a go in future.

Really looking forward to this trip. Posh hotel (don't think i'll use the spa and health club part though), but it will make a change from the usual travelodge accomodation. Just had a look at the Northumberland thread on here, and looks like we'll have a good couple of days taking in Bamburgh, Budle Bay and Lindisfarne.

Nice one Sue for taking me - but it was my copy of Birdwatch Magazine!

Hi all,

Just to let you all know it is worth applying to competitions as I've just won the 2 day birdwatching trip to Doxford Hall from the January issue of Birdwatch Magazine.

Suppose I'll have to take Paul with me. Joke Paul.
