Great stuff Joe. It was only a matter of time. Really pleased for you. Well done.

Class act young fella...think my particular favourite is the Dunlin, but it was difficult to single one out to be honest.

We have a rising star in our midst in the form of Joe Wynn, a bright young fellah you've probably met birding somewhere in the North West.

One of his photos has just been been published on the front of Wingbeat, the RSPB's magazine for young (Phoenix) members. He even got his own photo with an editorial inside the magazine where he is quite philosophical about bird photography.

Congratulations Joe, you may be the next Tipling, Attenborough, Packham, Nutkins, Soper or Oddie. Oh to be 15 again!

Check out his blog here, where the guillemot photo used by the RSPB can seen amongst his many other fantastic shots.
