Firstly, last years event went very well. All information to be released shortly via a 'vox-pop' film for anyone who is interested in the people (public!) Engagement side of things.
Our thanks to everyone from the GMBRG and the forum who turned up and contributed records on the day. Especially to Ian who provided us with a fantastic species count of all but three of the birds recorded on the day. For anyone who would like to see any of the species lists, drop me a PM with the area your interested in and I can Email you a copy.
And Finally (and most importantly) We are running the event again in 2012, though this time scaling it up. We are currently looking for help in all areas regarding the running and organising of the event, not to mention on site bird specialist to aid joe public with basic ID skills.
