Nice surprise tonight while walking the dog on the old railway line, a piperstrelle bat hunting up and down the line.

2 hedgehogs on the fields close by last night, they have been there on and off all spring and summer but i had nt seen them for a few weeks. was surprised to see how much weight they have managed to put on.
