Was walking my dog along bollin a week or so ago when a tawny owl flew from branch above my head. Thought nest hole would be somewhere around and fould possible site. Went back yesterday to check it out and sure enough tiny chick visible (it may have been scrabbling around on others!) left quickly as I was very close. Will find suitable bush at safe distance to watch them grow from time to time.
