It needs it's back breaking so the pages stay open whilst you put your cup of tea on it and it should be covered in scribbles and dirty thumb prints. It's along the lines of buying a Ferrari and then never driving it. That book needs a damn good reading with lashings of tea and biscuits, the crumbs of the latter of which should be lodged well into the crevice of every page. Any chance of borrowing it.

I am sure your 200 Club Library card is still up to date Ian, and a loan could be arranged.biggrin.gif but I want one of those biscuits with my brew as well.

Your probably all aware of it but just in case Jason hasn't seen it http://www.ibercajalav.net/actividades.php?codopcion=2251&codopcion2=2502 contains quite a few British birds in good detail.

Just need someone to complete all the British birds and turn it into an I phone app :D

Interesting difference in prices on that website, but they are not very up to date, at least 6 of the listing are for the same shop, and a few others have been sold, I have a list of birders trying to get a copy, and to be honest £200 is the minimum you will have to pay, so glad my nice clean tidy copy is on the shelfbiggrin.gif

Such a shame it's so expensive I managed to have a look at a copy whilst ringing at Retford, it would be great book to own but is way out of my budget.

Jason, you may have a long wait, this is a very very hard book to obtain, currently only one copy for sale on the internet, and thats on at £500, I will keep an eye out for a copy, but even on the cheap side you will be looking at £200-£300.

keep wishing

by Lucas Jenni & Raffael Winkler.

There must be someone out there who has a copy of this book collecting dust and wishes it went to a good home, at the right price of course?

cheers
