walking to work in Hadfield 8.20am saw approx 30 waxwings on the rossington park ind. est, they flew past me , giving out the shrill call they have, heading towards wooley bridge

Liverpool: 13 waxwings 8:30am today at the junction of Aigburth Road and Jericho Lane. My first of the year, brilliant! Constantly flying between trees.

I set the camera to manual and took a reading off the grass - it seems to work better for me than av and compensating.

If you look at my waxwing page, pics 17 to 21 have the exif, if you click on the info button

And if possible what ISO, aperture, shutter speed and other settings (Aperture priority, Shutter priority or Manual for example) did you use. Any help appreciated - keep snapping!

Hi

35 waxwings at Asda in Accrington and 100 plus at Trafford Gardens in Barrow yesterday - the ones at barrow keep getting chased off by crows - also saw a couple of sparrow hawks hunting over
