Hi Craig,

Am I too late to get my hands on the tapes? My bird call knowledge is woeful!

Cheers
Rick

I know they aren't cassettes, but to avoid starting a new thread, if anyone wants 14 miscellaneous Birdwatch magazines from the mid-1990's for free and can collect from the Wigan/Pennington area PM me. If not I'll stick them in the recycling.

(They've found a new home now and have been spared a grisly end at the recycling plant)

Ian - am I OK doing this? Its not for sale so assumed it would be.

Whilst having a bit of a clear out this afternoon I came across 2 cassettes (youngsters ask your parents) of birdsongs. I no longer posses a cassette player so these are free to anyone who wants them. First come first served. They are quite old - I think they date back to the late 1980's early 90's.

1 - Teach yourself birdsounds - broad leaved woodland - containing, believe it or not, the vast majority of common woodland species. 24 species in total.

2 - More British Bird Sounds. contains songs calls from a wide variety spp including Gannet (!!!), Red-legged Partridge, Firecrest and Cirl Bunting. 52 species in total.

If you want them let me know - I'm happy to post them out.
