Seems there has been a decent influx of Curlew Sandpipers into the UK today with lots inland including 8 together in Northamptonshire and 12 together in Staffordshire. Indeed Greater Manchester scored it's first today with an all too brief juvenile accompanying a juvenile Dunlin at an unfortunately private site.

Keep on the look out though. Check your local reservoir, lodge, flash, pools, they are out there and heading our way
