5 o'clock last night there were dozen and dozens (too many to count)of pied wagtails starting to roost in the big tree straight opposite Manchester airport terminal one departures drop off.
Unidentified species of Stork heading into the wind towards Airport from Jodrell Bank Direction,it got to Airport boundary, but wind forced it back towards Styal at 06:45 this morning
Peregrine back on the seen this morning, thought they had left the Airport,It was chasing pigeons around the Hangers. Also Sparrowhawk 4 Bullfinch 50+ Starling
Airfield Overflow Area 8 Pied Wagtail 2 Grey Wagtail Mallard
Yes, we count all of it. The boundary is very jagged at the SE side and it would be impossible to say which little bits are in Cheshire. Leach's Petrel has been recorded there in recent years! Plenty of good records to be had eg Pied Wagtail roosts.

Is Manchester Airport Airside,The airfield itself, runways, taxiways etc in the Manchester boundry.? I ask as I am returning to work in the Monarch Aircraft hangar from 16th August and I used to see quite a few interesting birds around the airfield,
