While on the courtesy bus on my way to collect a hire car this morning a female Peregrine cruised over the Hire car Village. A nice start to the day.

This bird is primarily frequenting the Thomas Cook hangar. Staff have been instructed to keep the hangar doors open to allow the bird access.

My Old workmate just phoned me,to let me know that a Peregrine Falcon
is inside the Monarch Hangar chasing Pigeons.Wish I hadnt retired

Unidentified species of Stork heading into the wind towards Airport from Jodrell Bank Direction,it got to Airport boundary,but wind forced it back towards Styal at 06:45 this morning

Peregrine back on the seen this morning,thought they had left the Airport,It was chasing pigeons around the Hangers.

Yes, we count all of it. The boundary is very jagged at the SE side and it would be impossible to say which little bits are in Cheshire.
Leach's Petrel has been recorded there in recent years! Plenty of good records to be had eg Pied Wagtail roosts.

Is Manchester Airport Airside,The airfield itself,runways,taxiways etc in the Manchester boundry.?
I ask as I am returning to work in the Monarch Aircraft hangar from 16th August and I used to see quite a few interesting birds around the airfield,
