A Kingfisher flew along the side of the reservoir and was later seen flying towards the golf course Mallard Moorhen A large mixed tit flock also contained at least 2 Chiffchaff 3+ Chaffinch
21/11/12 pm - Carrion Crow 5, Blackbird, Woodpigeon, Jay, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Goldcrest, Magpie 3, Long-tailed Tit 10, Nuthatch 2, Coot 3, Robin. Also had good view of a Weasel near entrance to reserve from golf course

another quiet morning - the angler's scarecrow works well - nothing on the water - not so much as a coot!!
Was a quiet mid-morning walk (no finches other than occaisional chaffinch!) - maybe I chose the wrong time of day.. Located in Ashton under Lyne, between the golf course and Hartshead Pike. Its a disused reservoir which has since been partly drained with a lower water remaining for anglers and mixed woodland of different ages.
