I had a dream (that's got to be a famous saying or song title one day) about three weeks ago where a corncrake (but actually it was a bit bigger, probably a Greater corncrake) was strutting around the car park of the offices I used to work at in Stockport!! I can say for a fact that it was never one of the 50 plus species I saw from the office window, sadly.
been working hard trying to stay afloat in these difficult times so haven't been able to get out anywhere near as much as i normally would, it's been getting me down more than i had cared to admit to myself before this morning when i awoke from a dream where 53 bee eaters flew over my head heading south. i got time for 2 counts both reaching the same tally and was half way through texting ian for the points and the alert for the rest of you, when sadly i woke up... bugger.
