RE: Deer Hill Res, Marsden

Hi Matt,

From A62 Marsden take B6107 Meltham Rd, after 2 miles park at pub called 'The Whitehouse' footpath is 800yds further along on right at Intake Lane (opp Varley Rd), its a steep walk up but you will see lapwings, curlews, etc on way up, scan the drystone walls for larks, pipits, wheatears, etc, it is moorland bird heaven. Twites are up near res, you will probably hear them before you see them!

Good luck, Andy

Hi Andy

I may have a mooch after work. Is there anywhere in particular to go? Or do you just walk around the reservoir?

Cheers

Matt
