Lots of Blackcaps and Willow Warblers. A few Chiffchaff and Whitethroats. Swallows, Carrion Crow, Woodpigion, 3 Bullfinch, and a Kingfisher along the River Medlock.
Between Medlock vale and Daisy Nook were a few Lapwings, a Jay destroying a Long Tailed Tit nest Long tailed Tits, Chaffinch, Whitethroat and Swallows.
A Mooch last night. And it was noticable that there were less birds than last week.
The main bird of note was an unringed Dipper on the Medlock.
A few more Willow Warblers, less Blackcaps and a bird call that I couldnt ID!! I have had Spotted Flycathers here before, but it wasnt one of those. It gave up calling and I frustratedly mooched off.
I will go back and try and ID it!
Swallow numbers still on the increase though!

Kingfisher - 1 flying up river. Blackcap - several males and one pair Woodpigeon Sparrowhawk Wren Dunnock Willow Warbler Chiffchaff Grey Heron Blackbird Song Thrush Long Tailed Tit - Seem to be everywhere Blue Tit Great tit Swallow - Numbers Increasing Greenfinch Chaffinch Goldfinch Mallard Canada Goose Crow Magpie Wheatear - in fields between Medlock Vales and Daisy Nook. 2 females in one field and 3 stunning males in another. Males may have been Greenland race as they had very pinky buff breasts but could have been the sunset! Never seen wheatear around these parts before.

A quick walk around tonight produced the following:
Pheasant Blackbird Song Thrush Blue tit Great Tit Long Tailed Tit Mallard Canada Goose Moorhen Dipper - Whizzed past on the river Wren Dunnock Woodpigion Crow Magpie Goldfinch Greenfinch
Long tailed Tits, Chaffinch, Whitethroat and Swallows.
Never seen wheatear around these parts before.
