RE: Job Vacancies with the RSPB in Greater Manchester

Hi Folks,

We have another job available in Greater Manchester for somebody with a passion for birds (and wildlife), who is willing to talk to people about conservation and the work of the RSPB.

Experience of sales and customer care is useful but not necessary.

Would suit a recent graduate or somebody looking for a change in career.

Any questions just ask.

Cheers
Paul

Although not looking for a new job myself I always keep an eye out on the various bird organisations websites for interesting new posts. Today I noticed several different posts on the RSPB website for roles in Manchester City Centre (3 posts for peregrine information assistants) and Dovestone Reservoir for information andn peregrine information assistants (although Dovestones is named as being in Derbyshire, which is an error) that may be of interest for people looking for work with birds or a career change etc.

Follow the link below if you are interested:

They may not be offering huge wages, but if you are interested in getting your foot in the door of a conservation organisation or would simply like to get out and about a bit more then they might be suited to you. If these sorts of jobs had been around when I graduated 12 years ago I'd have jumped at them, as although not massively paid, they still beat the first job I got after graduation and offer a much more interesting line of work too!! smile.gif
