never heard it called the gemini washlands before craigconfuse.gif,my old local patch, known locally as the south sankey valley smile.gifand thats what its recorded as in the cheshire report, and the Los report, where the sankey brook runs near gemini retail, its a good local patch from gemini through warrington, and i did it almost daily for about 10 years, between 1990-2000,when i lived by it.
seen young moorhens before in winter on the sankey canal, further towards warrington, and had both ringed, little ringed plover in summer, and up to 5 green sandpipers at one time along the brook there.a good little area,as long as you keep an eye out for the local yobs, that really drove me off that patch,it just got too dangerouscry.gif
