The film is really just a protracted conversation between a non-birder and another person who is quite clearly not a full shilling, so some of the birding stuff should be taken as you find it. For a monent Paul I thought you might be suggesting that everything that passes for comment regarding birds in a hide was to be treated as Gospel !!!biggrin.gif

I've got this on DVD and it's OK. A bit slow in places but not a bad film considering there are only two characters in it. Not sure about some of the birding stuff though - the birder in the film is waiting for a "sociable plover" which would mean he'd seen EVERY bird on the British list!

It was on TV sometime last year, Film4 I think. If I remember rightly it was discussed on the "Birds on Television" thread. Decent film I thought...
