If you look in the General Birding discussion at the thread there and the links, it should tell you everything you need to know about this sorry proposal by organisations that should know better.

Came across this site whilst looking for information on Lightshaw Hall.

I am intrigued by the references to -
'Lightshaw Hall Flash is sacrosanct - NO paths please!' 'Say no to Lightshaw path'

I hope to come bird watching to this area soon, what is being talked about?
Look like there are some interesting findings in the area.
