Thanks Geoff and Anne for the suggestions. I will pass them on.

I use a Nikon Coolpix P5100 with an adaptor from SRB-Griturn. I find this set-up much easier to use than the Swarovski adaptor.

Tim,it,s trial and error with your set up,but i,m using a compact samsung s1065 5x optical with a few features which mimic dslr set ups,for under £100 i,m pleased with the results only major flaw i,ve found is there,s no multi shot option(swapped for face recgognition thingy).Main thing is remember to take the scope to the shop and try before you buy,cos their not keen on returns if your camera and scope don,t get on.

cheers geoffbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

My mate Tony was asking me this am about the best cameras for digiscoping. Said I didn't know what was out there now - my Coolpix 4500 is distinctly old technology now and frankly I was never that happy with the results due to the slow shutter response speed. Tone is using a Leica APO Televid 62 (old one not the new model). Any suggestions gratefully received
