as all of us here are nature lovers, i know you'll all know how tragic it is when a single tree is felled in the name of man's insatiable appetite to live the dream of lumberjackery and the lumberjack's life, but when 3 species are mercilessly hacked with giant axe, double handled-saw and chainsaw and god only knows what else, it's enough to make even the most cold-hearted of us pause for thought for a second, holding our heads bowed in collective shame and shiver at the call of butcher men in checked shirts hollering timber!

the 3 species in question are:
maple, it's a pretty tree i have to say and you can boil it's sap and make syrup!
walnut, it's a pretty tree too and am a big fan of it's nuts covered in chocolate (but i think that's added after)
and rosewood. don't actually know what a rosewood tree looks like but if it's like other trees i'm sure is a very pretty thing, standing tall in all it's natural glory stretching up towards the sun, absorbing carbon dioxide and giving off oxygen - stopping this nasty global warmy stuff.

i've been really struggling with this barbarism for a long time and never have i been able to rationalise the senseless killing of these wonderful organisms.
until now that is! i bought this:

it's difficult to accept it's made out of 3 species of dead tree listed above!
isn't it beautiful! my heart is no-longer heavy with sadness, it's full of joyous tunes! you wouldn't believe something so lovely could come out of such brutal slaughter! every cloud and all that!
