Excellent report... Tom Waghorn did a good plug in Yesterday's Manchester Evening News and mentioned Mark Rigby's siting of a kestrel attacking a stoat.
Bird reports now at Sale WP visitor centre, Stockport Binoculars, Etherow Country Park. They will be at Bolton RSPB meeting on Thursday 5th. Hope to deliver to Hollingworth Lake VC tomorrow (4th).
All the complimentaries and ordered copies were posted today (except 2).

I now have the bird reports at home (though Steve has about 20 at MARC for people who want to call in there). I will be posting all the complimentary copies and those which have been paid for, tomorrow, when I also hope to get to Sale Water Park visitor centre, Stockport Bins, and Etherow CP office (all this will depend on whether the first and last places are open!) and Martin Mere (In Focus) on Wednesday. Later inthe week, Hollingworth Lake visitor centre.

Birds in Greater Manchester 2008 is now back from the printers.
Judith will commence distribution as soon as she is able but has to contend with caring for sick relatives, as well as all her bird-related work, at present.
Those desperate to get hold of a copy can collect one from me at:
MARC Ltd., 28 Edge Street, Northern Quarter, Manchester M4 1HN between 10am and 5pm.
I took this to the printer's today, so I expect it should be ready in about 5 weeks or so. There will be more pages and more colour plates than last year (even) but the cost will be the same (£6, + 76p postage if getting it from me by post). Otherwise it will be available from the usual outlets, assuming I can get it to them before I go on my annual migration, which are: Stockport Binoculars, Sale WP visitor centre, Etherow CP visitor centre, Hollingworth Lake visitor centre, In Focus at Martin Mere, Bolton and Wigan RSPB meetings, MOS meetings, Hale OS meetings, and MARC the printers, 28 Edge St, Manchester city centre.
