Did you try the image recovery program that came with the card - sometimes you can retrieve 'lost' images

no a peace of the corner of the card broke off,so it no longer is recodnised ,because each little peice of plastic is vital to it being recodnisedcry.gifits in the bin,its a good reason for using small capacity cards,1 or 2 gig,as these days with 8 gig cards being cheap, you could eaisily lose all the pictures from a holiday of a lifetime,at least with film if you had a duff film you only lost 36 pics, rather than 500 on a cardcry.gif

furious.gifJust a word of warning be very careful when handling sd cards out of the camera and into readers,as for the second time today i lost all the pictures on a card, and i had some stonking snipe shots, due to a small peice of plastic breaking off the edge of a card, once that happens the 2 contacts connect and all pictures are gone, and the card in the bin.so be carefull when removing or inseting them tiny cards as they eisily breakcry.gif
