There are several rowans at the Premier Inn on Sir Alex furgerson way which I have been watching for a few weeks now, plenty of berries still there but are going down.
On my way to work at today 12.40pm there was...
14 mistle thrush
1 song thrush
5 blackbirds
1 redwing
Possibly a blackcap but in a tree a little further away from me but soon flew off.

Whilst walking the dog tonight around 9pm good numbers of Swifts still whizzing around in several small flocks, one particular flock of around 25 then turned there attention to a bird of prey going over, a peregrine falcon, they pursued it down ayres Road heading towards old Trafford metrolink depot.

West Point Building, Chester Road, en route to our usual Boxing Day defeat, this year at Old Trafford.

The building appears to be used as a plucking post by a raptor. Three Black-headed Gull carcasses lay on the ground, breasts removed.
