01/03/2011 - Bonaparte's Gull adult winter still present this afternoon at low tide, at Treath Lligwy. It was constantly dip-feeding the water close to shore in the company of a few Black-headed Gulls. Also seen with Phil Owen were:

8 Black Guillemots
2 Guillemots
10+ Razorbills
2 Red-throated Divers
2 Red-breasted Mergansers
3 Shags
1 Gannet
1 Rock Pipit

A ride down to the caravan yesterday to open it up for the summer. Managed to grab 20 minutes at Dulas estuary mud flats.

1 Yellow Legged Gull (a first for me on Anglesey)
2 Common Sandpiper
5 Whimbrel
1 Little Egret
6 Sandwich Tern
12 Shelduck
1 Wheatear
4 Oystercatcher

Plus all the other usual birds.
