Lucky you didn't go this morning - it was dead - very few migrants, a handful of Chiffchaff and Blackcap, no wagtails at all - and it was flippin' cold! ( The 2 Ruff were still there whoop de doop...)

Paul,

It was visible in fields just by the entrance to Bradley Orchard Farm, Bradley Lane. SJ544 773
At first view it appeared from out of a ditch/furrow, so you could have been in the right place but it may have been hidden from view ?

Hi Ian, We dipped on the cattle egret yesterday. Probably looking in the wrong place, Bradley Lane, Orchard Farm??

To round proceedings off we made the short trip over to Bradley to see the long-staying Cattle Egret..........Beltin ! wink.gif
