Just been on the RSPB loch Garton site where they radio tracked the 2 fledged chicks from last year. One flew out into the Atlantic and died, the other successfully migrated to West Africa where it has, probably, also recently died. How hard must it be for these birds, and then on top of all their natural problems some Humans happily shoot the lucky survivers out of the sky. It makes the sighting of such birds all the more special I think.
Cheers Ian
