Bit of birding around Speyside, weather changeable to say the least and a bit early for most things but still not a bad couple of days.
Highlights - a female Capercaillie stood on the track at Forest Lodge for several minutes, summer plumage Black-throated Diver on Lochindorb, Crested Tit in Abernethy and a pair of Ptarmigan (eventually) up Cairngorm. Several Crossbills sp. flying over but none seen perched to be able to identify
