Ian, I looked in on my way home tonight to see it disappearing over the trees towards the shooting ground [hope no-one got trigger happy...] as I drove down the hill. There aren't many roads to search from so I didn't bother to try find its roosting site. At least I can count it as a sighting but I like a record shot when I can. I reckon looking at where the cows where if you could be bothered it would be easy to spot from the footpath along the river. Its got to be 350m from the road unless you drive down the farm track and looking at some photos of it on the web sometimes its been behind the barns as you look from the road. Three Little Stint present on No. 6 tank on the marsh this morning 07.30.

Cracking views of Cattle Egret with the cows on furthest farm just before Catton Hall at Bradley which is down Bradley Lane off the B5152 in Frodsham.

Good selection of species at Frodsham marsh this morning from 0715 onwards, including Golden Plover (a few coming into summer plumage). Curlew, Dunlin, Redshank, R***y Ducks, Black tail Godwit, Ruff, Ringed Plover, Lapwings and what I went to see 4 Little Stint - all of these species were on No. 6 tank. The track on the top of No. 6 has greatly improved until the far end where it's still a lot muddy
