I am pleased to announce that we fitted a Peregrine nest tray to the N side of the clock tower yesterday (facing Packer Street). It is on the balcony but can be seen with bins from the parking area, through the spaces in the balustrade. I would imagine there could be good views from the hillside nearby where the parish church is.
At least one bird is around.
Many thanks once again to our steeplejack Colin who fitted it for us, and had the brackets made. Let's hope we get breeding birds this year, as we did at Bolton and Manchester.
