RE: Dukinfield, Ashton, Stalybridge

Sat 11th March
Afternoon visit, Lucass idea as he wanted to go to the adventure playground. Few other birders on site, nice to see Vicky Harper.

- Firecrest still around top end of the bowling green. Easy to pick up when it started calling but it was quick and elusive. We did get a couple of good views whilst it was moving around.

Also
- 4 Goldcrests
- 1 Nuthatch
- 1 Coal Tit
- 2 Redwing
- 1 Wren

Firecrest still haunting the bowling green at lunchtime but *very* elusive. Hope the chap I was with managed better than fleeting views after I left.

Lots of other bird activity around including a number of Redwings.

Cheers,

Sat 4th March.

Dukinfield Park.

- c10 Redwings feeding
- 2 Fieldfare
- 1 Song Thrush

- 2 Nuthatch
- 2 Chaffinch
