Even though i asked them not to, and just buy me beer I got the complete encyc lopedia of british birds,which lists birds by where you,d expect to see themconfuse.gifbest of all I am now the proud owner of a pair of heated glovesbiggrin.gifoh and a laptop puter thingy to replace this hard wired box ,my IT man says some of the valves are likley to go soon.

I got the latest edition of "Where to watch birds in NW England", just noticed a site in it called Elton, it looks promising and I may take a look sometime soonwink.gif

am halfway through how to be a bad birdwatcher it's genius! a must read for one and all!

my bins aren't to shabby too, coal tits never looked so good!

Helm 'Owls of the world', 'How to be a bad birdwatcher' and a bottle of Glenlivet. I wonder if they are related as I never seem to see Owls - too busy drinking !

I got the DVD Guide to Waders(P.Doherty).

Already got it on video but it is so much easier to use on DVD!smile.gif

i've been such a lucky birder this xmas...

got this!



and some lovely books; extreme birds, how to be a bad bird watcher, bird by peter hayman & rob hume (including an ipod dvd) and my darling wife and her darling mother got me a new pair of bins - swarovski's no less! i've been a very good boy all year obviously!

hoping to christen the bins on something special tomorrow!
