Hi Rob, I'm anything but a Gull expert & was expecting to be corrected, but obviously the yellow legs & more the curved end of bill shape was what made me think it could have been one.
As for the domestic Goose it was the whitish tip to the beak & patterned neck feathers that made me think it could be some kind of hybrid type Sebastopol.
Many thanks for the comments Lez.

Quick hour at noon whilst the wife was having a scan - of note :-

Domestic Sebastopol type Goose on the lake with what I think was a Yellow-Legged Gull close by, also a Kingfisher flying across.

Also seen Tufted Ducks; Coal Tit; Nuthatch; Song Thrush in song; Carrion Crows; M & F Chaffinch & Goldfinch.

Hi Lez,
looks like a standard Lesser Black-backed Gull if Im not mistaken, and I thought Sebastopols are more visually striking, like a mass of curly white feathers.

That LBB Gull is there almost every day, same one. The goose usually stands nearby.

I came across a flock of 8 - 10 Long-tailed Tit in the park at lunchtime today.

The flock was moving from one tree to the next looking for food as they do in winter.
