RE: swallows in s/africa

Don't forget (as if anyone ever remembers hmm.gif) that the website does host a page just for foreign and UK birding hols. It allows as many photos as you desire to be published and is the best way to allow any trips to be utilised as a reference for others wink.gif

Does anyone know the outcome of plans by the S. African Govt. to build a new airport slap bang over the most important site for Swallows in the World in preparation for the World Cup? I think Birdlife International and the RSPB were trying to protest. It could be far far worse in the long term for our Swallows than some bad weather.cry.gif
