Just got back from Cuba and saw at least 15 of those. Also loads of American Warblers which should be heading north shortly.
Look out for Palm Warblers which hop about like Mipits. Also the 'Refuge' near the Space Centre is a fabulous place for Skimmers and Bald Eagles - there's a sundial thing which points out all the Eagle nests.
I am currently in Florida and having just moved into a hotel with wireless internet I thought I would post my list of birds that I have seen up to now.
Starling, Osprey, House Sparrow, Pied Billed Grebe, Anhinga, Great Blue Heron, Green Heron, White Ibis, Wood Stork, Egyptian Goose, Turkey Vulture, Sandhill Crane, Mourning Dove, White-winged Dove, Feral Pigeon, Downy Woodpecker, Red - billed Woodpecker, Blue Jay, Cardinal, Ringed neck Duck, Little Blue Heron, Gannet, Brown Pelican, Elegant Tern, Willet, Turnstone, Sanderling and Laughing Gull.
The Disney World attractions seems to be and excellent place to see birds! I was down at Cocoa Beach on Monday to watch the Rocket take off from Kennedy Space Centre - the beach at Cocoa is an excellent place to get close to waders!! Literally within just a few feet!
