Lesser Whitethroat singing on the former railway embankment between Low Hall and Bickershaw Caravan Site today, also Grasshopper Warbler in rushes on the field between the embankment and the horse grazed field. Along with singing Whitethroats, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff and Blackcap, plus Skylark and Lapwings in the field between the caravan site and Hindley Prison, these brightened up an unscheduled visit to locate a dead horse!!!
