yesterday the river roch on the bury/rochdale border was up to with a couple of inches of the top of the bank and today in the city centre the irwell was up higher than i've ever seen it and both rivers are so full of silt that they are the colour of mud, my question is this... how does it effect all the fish etc that birds feed on?
