Is the stream archived do we know?
I rang the RSPB today to enquire about their camera setup etc etc and I understand that a new one is installed at the 2009 site giving good clear images. The system was turned on today and I am happy to say that one egg has been laid. I am not sure when the webcam pics will go online but it will be fairly soon I hope. Anyway looking forward to our female peregrine laying 3 more eggs.
On and off all day. Male bringing in food , female following him in to take it. Female possibly trailing something from legs, will try to take a better look tomorrow.
Had a look today but could not see anything trailing from the females legs. I saw her today mating on the town hall spire after mid-day and again on the Arndale 'E' at 5.30pm.

Since there is a possibility I will not be working there for much longer you can count on it
BTW in case you are not aware Manchester City Council to their credit installed a top quality nest tray a few years ago and it is superb having been built by Colin Brooks to blend in with the architecture. I only wish it were a little higher but there were problems getting permissions with the building being listed.

Just wondering weather they will nest again on the CIS as theres the building work right on there doorstep, they seem to work till at least 8 most nights just hope this wont keep the birds away
I was in Manchester shopping today and decided to have a look for the Peregrines.
Between 11.20 and 11.40 in the rain the female was perched on the Premier Inn and as I watched her the male arrived and landed on the cathedral. Sadly I didn't have time to watch them any longer but both birds were still present when I left.
Female perched on one of the old nest sites this morning.
Two days ago a colleague was eating a butty in Parsonage Gardens and was distracted by a rustling behind the bench - turned and disturbed the female off a Feral Pigeon prey item only feet away.
Just seen an adult bird floating in the gales over the St Peter's Square. Lovely to watch it expertly using the wind to drift around with very little wing movement .
Not seen any for a while in the city centre, so nice to see one back over this end of town.
The last sighting of the juvenile I had was 30th July when I saw it in Albert Square. I tend to think it didn't make it . I would have expected it to be dependant on its parents for much longer.
Was working last night on 24th floor of cis tower ,looking out over the city as the sun was on its last legs, when a shower of feathers came fluttering down looked up and there was a peregrine having its supper
Juvenile on top of the City Arms pub at lunchtime, squawking away - adult female flying around by Town Hall - presumably trying to catch a Pigeon for junior.
Very active this week, mostly around the Town Hall, but both yesterday and today a female (couldn't age but with some secondaries missing or in moult) has visited last year's nest site.
