RE: Waddington/Newton Fells

Sue and I had good views this afternoon - although not close enough for any pictures (shame). Spent an hour chasing it up and down the road between the quarry and the pub (was far easier chasing the two Firecrest at Old Moor last week!).

Peter Johnson and I had fantastic views of the shrike today 10.30- 11.30 a.m. both sides of the road around the quarry, British firsts for both of us. Events this weekend just prove there is a God and the devil (Red Ones!!!) lose. biggrin:biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif
Sorry just got carried away and my wife, who has just read this thinks Im childish

Showed very well this morning though only for a short time. It then went off behind the quarry - still visible but distant. It then found something to eat and disappeared - didn't hang around to see if it came back.
