RE: Yellow Browed Warbler

The Yellow-Browed at Scotman's Flash was in the rear garden of 43 Rushdene at 5:50pm (located initially on call) , then moved towards the north-west corner of the Flash, below the former railway embankment with a group of Long-Tailed Tits and Goldcrest.

Just noticed another Yellow Browed Warbler reported on birdguides at 6.28 pm at Wigan flashes seen at 5.50 pm in trees below railway embankment at northwest corner of Scotman's Flash. Access from Mottram Drive.
Note, it wasn't me! Hopefully someone will put a posting on, or if not others can check it in the morning.
Cheers
Steve

The Yellow-browed Warbler was indeed found by Rob and Sonia Adderley who were infact out egg-collecting at the time (chickens eggs from the farm up there I should probably point out biggrin.gif). Unfortunately though there was no further sign from approx. 10:50 to atleast 2:20pm (the latter time thanks to Brian Fielding) but it is still worth looking for and is in a great location and one I'd never visited before.
