red rocks looking out to hilbre -plenty grey plover and curlew with 2 wimbrel amongst them, 10 dunlin and 4 ringed plover and a small fflock of pied wags.skylarks and mipits taking to the wing as i walked along shoreline along with 2 wheatear.in the reed bed behind red rocks 4 reed buntings,1 willow warbler and 1 chiffchaf.

parkgate-kestrel stalking prey and 2 wheatear in field behind baths carpark.4 little egrets on the pools.

Inner marsh farm-8 avocets,7 spotted redshank one in near summer plumage,1 little gull,10 dunlin,2 knot,4 little ringed plover,6 ringed plover,2 ruff,4 buzzard putting everything up,1 common gull,all the usual ducks,1 blackcap.biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

PARKGATE HELD 2-3 HUNDRED TWITCHERS HOPING FOR A HIGH TIDE BUT THEY LOOKED VERY DISAPPOINTEDcry.gif

plenty Knot,redshank and Dunlin
good mixed gull roost and plenty of oystercatchers

Leasowe first visit here
Great place for a walk but watch out for the golf balls especially in strong winds blowing offshore
4 turnstone
8 sanwich tern
hundreds of knot,oysters,redshank,dunlin all viewed on rocky island at high tide
