Shedfull of birds on the east coast. Is the lake at the edge of the nature reserve on the Rio Plato still full of empty beer bottles,or have they been remove?.Remember seeing a Lesser Legs picking around a empty bottle of local Cervesa there,I dont think the Argies have learnt about recycling.

No worries Ian had a pair back in April, so wouldnt even be a patch year tick!wink.gif phew that it wasnt a Sabines!!!

Only just feelin normal now, really not used to the weather in the southern hemisphere.

Been back out today, Southern Lapwing, Southern Screamer, Blue and white Swallow, White faced tree duck, Fulvous whistling duck, Lesser & Greater Yellowlegs, Ultramarine Grosbeak, Sayaca Tanger and Black Hooded Parakeet to name a few more.

Back on Weds. Whats the news from the east coast?

Wow, intracontinental bird news! Thanks for posting from there Simon. Sorry it's because of all those ailments though.

I know this is well out of county birding but thought i would share some of the sightings with you all as stuck in doors at the moment after catching a cold and getting sunstroke at the same time!

Cocoi Heron, Black-necked swans, Great, White-tufted and Pied-billed grebe´s, Silver Teal, Speckled Teal, Lake Duck, Black-headed Duck, Vermillion Flycatcher, Cattle tyrant, Spectacled Tyrant, Roadside Hawk, Crested Caracara
Monk Parakeets - these are wild ones, Rufous Horneo, Great Kiskadee etc etc

Hopefully will be able to get back out there soon and add some more to the list.

Think there will be a report for the birders abroad section when im back!

Simon
