A loose skein of approx 200 over Stockport Bus station heading SW at 16:08

47 NW at Higher End, Billinge 09:45

70 NW out from Wigan along the R Douglas valley 09:57

80 NW high over Wigan-Orrell 11:05 

235 high W over Wigan 11:55

35 south this morning over Higher End, Billinge at 09:47. Thirteen of these broke off and flew E, with the rest turning back in to West Lancs (at one point 28 separate skeins were visible in the air over West Lancs and the Sefton Coast)

A good-sized flock of Pink-footed Geese in several skeins went over Fairywell Wood on the Timperley/Wythenshawe border high approx west at about 5.25pm. A very quick, rough count came out at c. 350, give or take 50 or so. One of the larger groups i've seen over the years i think.
