A skein of 30-40 briefly seen flying northwards over the M60 near to Prestwich Junction at about 9.15am.

42 flying south south east over shell pool at 9-40 this morning, with a solitary bird calling repeatedly heading north west at 10.
Several other skeins heard calling but not seen in the vicinity of Carrington Moss.

Heard twice today; about 9.30 this morning over Chorlton Park area, and then mid afternoon over where I ride near Daisy Nook. None seen due to fog / low cloud, though neither sounded a large skein.

Circa 200 flew SW at 4 45 pm (dark) this afternoon at Jackson's boat in chorlton. I also heard some fly over my house in chorlton before daybreak this morning but was too lazy to get out of bed to check how many.

i had 2 skeins over Stretford at 9.05am heading east probably the same ones that Shannon had but I estimated 300+. 162 counted from photograph, over pennington flash at 11.30am heading east.

The garden was virtually deserted, so a flock flying over it at c 11.40 was a much needed bonus. They were going W-SW and there were about 100 (give or take 10%). I'm having to estimate because the birds were directly over the house, so I could only see half the 'V' formation from my upstairs window (after having heard them first). Nice to see as don't get as many over in the east as we used to.
