A skein of 150+ was seen heading north east just after ten past twelve today from Shell pool, approximately 30 seconds later a goose was heard calling and a lone bird flew low over the reserve chased by a Peregrine falcon.
They disappeared over the tree line towards Carrington Moss.

Sun 26th Oct

Early morning around 7.30am I was alerted to the sound of the Geese flying over mums house Dane Bank but couldnt see them.
Then I looked up and realised they were higher than usual, and I couldnt put a number on them, probably well over 1500 birds.
